The ground is not one of the more memorable ones around, modern and functional here. However, it does have space to expand easily if needed and the pitch was in excellent condition given the recent wet weather. Firm throughout and not cutting up. A credit to the groundstaff.

 

The hosts have won once in the last couple of months, and it wasn't hard to see why on this performance. Despite having the strong wind behind them, it was Oxhey who looked the better side. They took an early lead and had a few opportunities to extend this. One disallowed for offside and one other chance late on was the best Dunstable could manage.

 

Oxhey eased to a three goal cushion after the break, before their #6 was sent off (second yellow, kicking the ball away) ten minutes from time. The consolation was well taken and a second nearly arrived, but the result was the right one in the end.
