Christof
And SYCOB beat a strong Wycombe side on penalties after a 3-3 draw in the B&B!I went to this (after visiting the new 'Spoons at the services, very nice). SYCOB played very well and in my opinion fully deserved their victory. They never flagged even though Wycombe had apparently 5 first-teamers there, and were trying (unsuccessfully) to put a bad run of form behind them. The important questions: Is it £1.99 for a pint of ale and do they do food?
Christof
Ale: plenty of it (2 from Windsor & Eton, and 3 or 4 others), but unsure of price (I had a lemonade, hardcore!). Food: yes, standard menu but with combo meals offered with non-alcoholic drinks rather than beer (hence the lemonade). The Stig walked in behind me (for Newsnight), and a number of people got their pics taken with it/him - it was nearly as funny as watching the Wycombe players get jeered off...
