Neutral
Don't think it will happen which is a shame as they are good people at Hillingdon Borough FC but I feel the football club is slowly being pushed out of the ground by the stadium owners. Heard a rumour that Hillingdon Borough FC have to pay rent when they use the dressing rooms ? also Hillingdon Borough FC get sod all of the bar takings ? Correct, they do not own the The Middlesex stadium. They only own their boardroom/ port-a-cabin

A great ground just fading away. The Hillingdon Borough FC committee and supporters deserve better.
Neutral
Absolutely. They rent the pitch, and the bar is privately owned. I agree a great ground.
LoucasX
Hilingdon was my favourite away game of the season. Loved watching the game from the veranda with a pint in hand and great curry and hospitality in boardroom afterwards. Hope they regain former glories. Savagebee
Every time I go to Hillingdon Borough FC a little bit more of the ground has crumbled away its very sad to see. There tends to be more people in the clubhouse then out in the ground watching the game these days. Edited January 22, 2014 by Savagebee

Neutral
You don't have to pay to watch from the clubhouse I don't think
SG24
Like a few clubs at this level, Hillingdon have never "chased" spectators money. First time I went in there, I went in through the club entrance and almost forgot to pay to watch the game. The next time, I went in via the spectators gate and there was no one there to collect money. I found someone in the club to hand my money over to (I'm sure it was probably counted as part of the official attendance and didn't just subsidise the bloke's next couple of pints! ) London Tigers was similar, the only way they collected attendance money was when you went into their club and paid at the bar. Very much an honesty policy!
Rhodes
Do Kentish Town have a free run of the Middlesex Stadium on match days or is there always a Hillingdon Borough Official on hand to look over the Club's shoulder due to their reputation

Rhodes
I believe that would be the good reputation that you have. I was referring to the Club's previous groundshares at places like Haringey Borough, Hendon and Potters Bar Town in particular where Football Man used to watch them like a hawk didn't he! Winslow Boy
Chased spectators money? It's always baffled me when people avoid paying the £4-£5 quid entrance fee. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by chasing, having an entrance fee is hardly that though. A few quid to see a decent committed game and support your local club. Rhodes
Chased spectators money? That's what I was constantly doing at Tokyngton Manor as they used to drive into the so called 'Hidden Gem' and not stop at the gate to pay
SG24
Perhaps I should clarify. When I said "chased" I suppose I meant that they never had anyone available to collect money on the way in, or prevented entry to the club from the car park rather than from inside the ground. It gave an air of ambivalence to collecting admission money. I certainly wouldn't deliberately avoid paying admission (although I'm sure some do), I actually found someone to give my money to! Agree 100% We had a pre-season game against a QPR XI team a couple of years ago and we charged Adults £5 (Including Team Sheet) to get in and some QPR supporters refused to pay that and watched the game over the fence behind the goal instead. Rhodes
You have to make Ampthill slight favourites with home advantage if, as you say, Hanwell make it through against Ashford Looks like I was wrong with Hanwell Town leading at Ampthill Park with fifteen minutes remaining
Rhodes
Who read the following letter in yesterday’s Non League paper: Cranking the Amps a Step Too Far I attended the FA Vase Fifth Round tie between Ampthill Town and Hanwell Town recently, partly to test my assertion that these two Spartan Midlands League sides offered the most likely threat to the Northern League’s recent dominance of this competition. Unfortunately though it was not the football that attracted my attention, I stood behind a group of Ampthill fans who directed a chant of ‘we are the A’s, you are the gays, da-d-da-d-da’ towards the opposition. To my surprise stewards who did intervene in a separate incident involving some of these particular fans did not tell those chanting that their chant was unacceptable and should be stopped. This is clearly at odds with the FA’s stance on homophobia and the universal support given to Thomas Hitzlsperger in his recent revelation.
