Just started raining in Brentford rain due to stop around 03:00 AM or 04:00 AM in the morning PITCH INSPECTION AT 10:00 AM.

Its become a bit of a joke eh but what can you do.

 

With our weather getting more and more crazy 3g is the way forward for non-league football clubs im afraid.

 

Agreed but tough on the old knees for all players...

 

We are investing more and more on our pitch but this kind of weather makes a mockery of all that!

Yes that is a down side.

 

We ground share with Southall (As most people on here know) and our reserve team use the pitch so its getting to the point where there will be at least 3 game a week on it until the end of the season now so its going to get ripped up big time so its lucky we have top grounds men.

2 games vs St Mags on that pitch as well!

That's a shame as Hanwell used to be one of the best pitches around. Over this way Barton & Leighton are in the same situation, with a ground share & also trying to squeeze in a reserve team. As a consequence their pitches are getting worse each year although I can't imagine either invest much of their cash in the playing surface. Tring reserves have had 3 games called off at Barton so far this season already
