So tonight was the second one then which was what I meant. Or are you saying first sending off wasn't put through earlier this season? Doesn't change the fact he was sent off.

There is a difference between a send off (Standard Charge) and a Misconduct Charge.

You say he was sent off. You can only be sent off as a player.

You are reported for misconduct as a Club Official or Spectator.

Earlier in the season he was reported as a Club Official. Same as last season.

The disciplinary report for earlier in the season was forwarded to the relevant County FA.

Scouting for Tasker's replacement? He's been under-performing for about 2 season's now in my opinion. Must admit I like that view too, and giving the keepers a bit of stick!

Id have to disagree with you, Tasker has been playing well for us, ask Ampthill when we played at their place. Only thing I could fault with him at present is he occasionally says a bit too much to the officials.

What did you make of the game yesterday? We were poor for long periods I thought, lacking tempo and sharpness against a very physical Colney Heath side.

JANUARY 2014

TUESDAY 21ST

PREMIER DIVISION

Hanwell Town                4-0                Hatfield Town

A report from an anorak on another Forum (sorry Dave):

Hanwell Town 4 Hatfield Town 0 SSML Premier Division

Admission £6

Programme included with admission

Coffee £1

Attendance 45 (hc)

Car park- space available pot holes not as bad as they once were !

Hanwell continued their march towards the top with a routine 4-0 win over Hatfield despite looking a bit rusty at times. Hatfield played their part in an entertaining game which saw the rain arrive with a vengence in the 2nd half with the groundsman on his mini tractor pitchside before the end revving up and ready to roll the pitch

Nice to see Steve Pound the Ealing MP and Patron of Hanwell in attendance and not paying lip service to his title like that bloke over at Windsor. Must be nice for him to see a winning side as he's also a Fulham supporter.

JANUARY 2014

TUESDAY 21ST

PREMIER DIVISION

London Colney                   3-0                 Biggleswade United

A report from another Forum:

Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division

London Colney 3-0 Biggleswade United

Admission £6, Prog £1 (very poor)

Att: 23 (h/c)

Tea 60p, Bovril 80p

The 3 Amigo's headed to possibly the most local that all 3 of us hadnt done.

95% of the action was in the opening 5 minutes. Home side hit the bar after 13 seconds, scored the opener on 45 seconds and were 2-0 up after 5 minutes both low shots from the edge of the box.

The rest of the first half was alot of huff and puff with little quality. The 2nd half saw Biggleswade get more into the game without really looking like scoring with the home side willing to give away free kicks with some nasty challenges if Utd got too close to comfort.

A cracking header after 75 minutes wrapped up the points for the home side and this fortunately calmed down the somewhat fraying temperatures of both teams until the final whistle.

Low 4 row stand with a small area of covered standing on side of a fully railed off pitch, with work continuing to re-pave the hard standing all around the ground, and a grass bank by the clubhouse end goal fenced off.

I thought it was just one of those games. It was a cold midweek game, not the greatest ref, surface average and it was just down to who wanted it more. The physical Colney Heath team came and facnied it. Sometimes that happens and the better footballing team doesn't end up winning.

On the whole though, the berko team looks better than recent seasons, Tasker had one of his better games (my opinion on him was maybe a bit too harsh), I have to admit when he is good he is very good. In past seasons though, he can be a bit patchy. He loves the shout "ANY DANGER" and other such footballing clichés.

All keepers have their moments, rarely remembered for their good

ones and more for their mistakes. I did think you were being a bit harsh, he has played a big part in our recent good defensive record. Perhaps our paths will cross one day at Berko, should you wish to pay the £6 to get in. ;-)
