Money has run out at Burnham, probably felt under pressure to keep the team together with less money.  Players will leave, it's a natural consequence, and happens every season to clubs at this time of year.

Whilst I would agree with you Nonleagueman it would need to be at the expense of the current squad. On the balance of the game that we played at their place a few weeks back I believe that our squad is a match (Also factoring in that we had injuries and players playing for the first time in 6 weeks) and I would therefore be very reluctant to upset the balance somewhat.

 

I think that the signings we have made over the past few weeks have helped to fill the gaps we did have and strengthen as a whole and believe anythign further would just act to disrupt the balance.

Stoney sent me a text Friday to say he couldn't make Dave's do, but could i pass on his best wishes to him and apologise for his absence. (Which i did)

I'm not going to question use of the word "integrity" but it is interesting that Craker admitted they could see the writing on the wall 18 months ago, yet the club continued down the path of apparent overspending.

 

I'm not sure the excuse made in the press articles of sponsors recently failing to pay their money holds much water after that admission.
