Which Premier League club would you compare your SSML club to?

Recommended Posts

As many of you know, I follow a few SSML teams. Oxhey as it's now very close to where I work, Welwyn Garden City having worked at the Shredded Wheat factory for many a year and Berko due to family ties.

I'd say Oxhey Jets remind me of Southampton, obviously there's something not quite right going on behind the scenes (board/chairman level) at both clubs. Southampton look like they're about to lose all their best players just as it started getting good, very much like Jets did at the end of last season.

Welwyn Garden City are the Newcastle United of Div 1. You never quite know what you're going to get from them each season, could be good, could be bad. This season both of them seem to be up there and have great attacking threat.

Berko are probably Everton - Always the bridesmaids. And there can be no clearer comparison between two players when it comes to Leon Osman and Dale Sears. Both Mr Reliable at their respective clubs.

Donno who cod would be but wed be the wealdstone raiders most hated.got no ground.got no fans. U want some hahahah

Very harsh on yourself Liam. Codicote remind me of the Chelsea side of 1996-98 under the guidence of Ruud Gullit. Being a direct team that play on more sand than grass with a manager more capable of a good technical 90minutes than his players. If Hatfield Town wanted to survive this years prem campaign I would say you could be pretty much the only man to take that drivers seat and keep them on the road.

Hahah cheers. Our home form at gosling is awful at gosling. Yeah we lost to belstones. Weve gone through a really bad spell. Lost 5 forwards in a week and have drawn and lost too many games of late.many of which weve missed a million chances. Signed a new striker and got a couple nearing a return now so hope we can put a good run together. paul garretts out for the seasom which will be a big miss who had 15 in 15

Thats the plan. Will be great for the club. And will make a massive difference. Will save money on a matchday,be a better surface to play on, be able to train up there indoors/out and make behind the bar. Shame ill be too old to play:)
