Rebel Kay
This Friday evening The Herschel Arms are hosting a bit of a do from 7.30pm for Dave Piercy (Programme Dave) Dave has been unwell recently and this is just to cheer him up. It has all been arranged in conjunction with his parents. Several ex players and managers will be coming, there will be food and a party atmosphere, so come along and join in. Neil Baker
Hi Kay, as I mentioned to Paul, I am afraid I am not around, as I have a function with work that I can't get out of. We are going to try and get a few of the lads up there for a bit, for a couple of orange juices. Hope you all have a good evening x
RodB
I'll be working too but I hope everyone, especially Dave, has a great time.
Jon Underwood
Me and Wooz will be there tomorrow for a drink or two. Have told all of the players about it and hopefully a few of them can make it along too.

Stuntman Mark
Yes, well done for sorting this out for Dave. I'm a bit busy tonight and off the sauce but going to try and pop my head round the door for an hour if I can.

Stuntman Mark
Amazing turn out, the pub was seriously rammed! Brilliant to see so many old players turn out and gutted I had to shoot off early.
Rebel Kay
Fab turnout and it looked like he was having a great time. Maybe just the slightest headache tomorrow
Ian
Dave will be thrilled at the turnout, if he can remember anything! Last I saw him he downed his third shot in succession singing "three nil to the mighty Slough!!!" Brilliant turnout from past and present players including Jacko, Danny Murphy, Dan Burnell, Sean Sonner, Alex Brown, James Pritchard, Wilko, Matty Miller. Steve Bateman, Wooz, Matt Bonnet, Mark Betts and Jon Underwood also there. Apologies to any others I missed or didn't see. A special night proving what an amazing family Slough Town is. Radders
Really sorry I couldn't pop along as I was working till late but looking at the list of those in attendance it just shows why some of those ex players are and always will be held in such high regard by us fans. Glad to hear Dave had a great night!!!

brighton_rebel
Echo Ian. Reading about last night makes me proud to support Slough and the reason i still travel up from brighton. Proper, decent club
A Rebel and a Saint
Agreed, that's what I love about supporting this club, how the fans, players and managers of now and those long gone will rally around when needed. It was a great night with a great turnout and Dave looked like he was really enjoying himself. Whether he can make it to the game after all those shots is a different matter though! Roughly quoting what he said to us last night... 'I've had 4 of those little things, perhaps an omen for tomorrow, either 4-0 Slough or a washout.' What a club man, only a few people would attract that kind of support when its called for.

Radders
Apologies HR certainly no intention of 'segregating' the players. Incorrect use of wording but as you say, all have a great deal of respect from myself and others.
