Surprise news from Hoddy

Recommended Posts

It should have read Andreos- I have no idea why my phone corrected it to A Steps.

As for Bolle, I'll admit that's me being uninformed- I had no idea he'd left.

But, I never claimed anything I posted to be fact. I said I for saw movement and then named two players. Just opinion

How can you have an opinion on a subject that your not up to date with?

Claiming a player will leave that went over a month ago....

The thing is MM8, I didn't realise I wasn't up to dye before I passed judgement- make sense?

Are you telling me know one else has ever speculated on here before?

Dont worry Neutral i see where your coming from ... Just passing on a bit of news that you hear somewhere and becuase you've been miss informed everyone cry's about it. Newspapers call it speculation and they make a lot of money out of it. Thats the whole point of a forum isnt it? sharing rumours and news then talking about it. And i look forward to you're feeds. Keep up the good work!

A Steps scored our first goal today in a 2-1 win v Oxhey Jets.

No sign of Bolle at the game today though which is worrying.

Still no applications from various Cockfosters staff.

Worrying times at Hoddesdon....

I eagerly await the Oxhey Jets write up. I'm sure both goals were 'blatantly offside', or there was some sort of foul on a jets player in the build up, or the pitch was too wet for the jets etc etc. If all their write-ups were actually true, they would be the unluckiest team in the history of the world! Ever!

Rendon, spoke to a friend of Fabrizio Ravalenti and he hasn't made any contact with hoddy. Although, and I quote, if the opportunity to manage at the "right club with a good playing surface" comes up, he would have to take it it. Interesting, what are the facilities like Jonno?

I think there are flatter pitches in the league, put it that way....

Reb, it's usually Hoddesdon who are accused of writing biased inaccurate match reports so I'm glad the spotlight on that score has shifted to someone else (for now!).

Although I note on he Oxhey twitter feed they've posted a few photos from the game "proving" they deserved two penalties....

Talking of reports, anyone read the newsletter this weekend? An interesting read...

Having said that, I wasn't at the first team game today, as I was busy reffing the 5-2 victory our reserves had over a Welwyn Garden City side with more than one or two first teamers in it! Cracking result against Division One opposition for our second string side. Hilight of the day for me was their striker, Ade or Ali think his name was, telling me and anyone who would listen that they were going to "smash this reserve side today", just as we kicked off. Oh dear....

Nice to meet Adam Fisher today. Seems a good guy and has done an excellent job during his time so far with the clarets and blues. Hope they kick on and earn promotion this season.

Finally, well done to Frank getting his first win at the first attempt today in his role as caretaker manager. Onwards and upwards.

Jonno

So Edgar Davids has quit Barnet just as Hatfield and Hoddesdon jobs become available. Coincedence?

Well I've heard this as well. Through my 'In the know Sources' Davids will take over at Hoddy as Player/Manager. Will wear 0 as his shirt number. Make himself Captain, Kitman, Tea Lady & Bar man & will join Jonno's band as lead singer !
