That may be true but there is also Facebook and Twitter these days and lots of people are able to read what the people involved think and talk to them about it, the ex managers tweets and players tweets on the subject have been doing the rounds, less places to hide these days. Of course that doesn't mean its the full story, but something has gone on, and this should be taken as no disrespect to Hoddesdon or the Hoddesdon poster, certsinly on my part there is non intended, but of course people are going to be interested in it, this is a place for discussion on SSML news etc.. (and rumours), this certainly qualifies, and until people know why (they don't have to thats the clubs perogative) they will continue to speculate and surely thats ok (thats their perogative)? In time it'll all be forgotten anyway, more quickly if Hoddesdon continue their fine form, if they don't the club may need to brace for some pelters.

Speculation is fine and we all enjoy the rumour mill culture that comes with our sport.

 

Making up blatant lies about somebody who has applied for a job that doesn't exist (I can confirm we haven't received a single application or CV), or stating that a player who left three weeks ago and scored on their debut for Wingate and Finchley is understood to be wanting out of his former club (!) is unfortunately made up, uninformed drivel.

 

But do carry on. The players and management all enjoyed reading this thread at training last night. Including A steps!!
