cup of tea
Great morale boost tonight after a patchy time recently. Hornchurch played well tonight. Not sure of the strength of the Dagenham side but they must have put a team out they thought could win the game. Both teams hit the woodwork. Well done to all concerned. Mr short
Had 3 1st team players out there apparently, who cares anyhow. Massive pat on the back for getting the game on,pitch looked very heavy in places. Morale boosting victory, some really nice football in patches,a bit like our earlier performances and getting back to scoring late goals. Well done boys. Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
Agree great game to boost morale and the team seemed chuffed after the final whistle. Hope this is what we've needed, a good pick me up!! To be honest, i expected a little bit more from Dagenham, maybe they weren't up for it tonight. Yes, they hit the woodwork a couple of teams and came close with a couple of more shots but nothing was ever threatening. Good to see we can keep the ball down on the deck and play some good passing football. We really are a tough team to beat when we play well. Lets hope it can continue now with the league games...?! cup of tea
I think it's us, Braintree, Concord and the winner of Colchester v Thurrock (Replay next Monday I think) left. I fancy a trip to Braintree or a home match.
obis
All seem good ties. Thurrock away may be a chance to eye up their facilities, or a home draw.
blackballed
All seem good ties. Thurrock away may be a chance to eye up their facilities, or a home draw. Why ? I think we as a club know more than enough .........

missunderstood
Great morale boost tonight after a patchy time recently. Hornchurch played well tonight. Not sure of the strength of the Dagenham side but they must have put a team out they thought could win the game. Both teams hit the woodwork. Well done to all concerned. D&R had one starter from Saturdays match with Fleetwood, and another that come on as a sub. From the rest three occasionally make the subs bench, and the GK was third choice at best. Had Zavron Hines been playing you would have had the pleasure of watching probably the best player in League 2.
obis
Southend United fans would argue a case for Kevan Hurst.
cup of tea
It's obvious that Dagenham didn't treat this competition as a priority but that win came at the right time for us so I'm glad.
