Thanks for the kind comments gentlemen.

The ref put on the orange bib about 10 minutes in. Can't say I'd really noticed the problem before that.

Stan - Difficult to judge, as i've only seen Epsom & Ewell once this season so far and that was a tonking in the cup by Whyteleafe. Having said that I don't think E&E were as bad as the scoreline suggested on that night. I was thinking maybe I'd get to see them Saturday, but I suspect the rain will put paid to that. Can't see Camberley taking the title myself although their direct style was effective when I saw them the other week. It's harsh to brand South Park as a long ball team I think as they mix it up a bit and with their forwards why would you not want to get the ball up to them as quickly as possible? My guess is that South Park will take the title, but it could depend on how the rest of the season pans out weather wise and any resulting fixture pile up.

Looks like the rain will put paid to Westfield v Epsom and many other games this weekend.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if South Park v Epsom on Tuesday is in doubt. Doesn't matter though as the winners go to Chessington or Wembley and that game won't be played until March!

The bad weather is better news for Epsom and Camberley than South Park though as they have the better draining pitches and if Epsom or Camberley keep their form up we could see a new League leader soon through no fault of South Park's. A fixture backlog is no good if you have to play three times a week unless you happen to have a whole island full of players to choose from.

Most interestingly, coming up:

Epsom v Camberley 5th April

South Park v Camberley 12th April

Epsom v South Park 19th April

Now imagine who would be favourites if you give South Park fixtures on the Tuesdays and Thursdays in between those dates.

I haven't forgotten Windsor, but they are looking like fourth favourites for the league at present so it looks more and more like a three horse race.
