Ampthill or the Hanwell game, both look set to be good games, both quality teams with excellent chance of progressing. I would expect there to be a far bigger attendance at Hanwell, but you get the best view in this league from Ampthills stand. Hope they both get big crowds they deserve, and maybe with the weather any postponments may mean they pull in more neutrals. Best of luck to both, going to be a difficult choice.

 

side note, does either team have enough support to warrant going for promotion, from a neutral point of view I think unless you are guaranteed several hundred week in week out supporting at the next level you are always relying on external money pumped in, not only that but who why have Step 4/3 footy played in front of a handful? Who's that for? can't be the town or community if the people aren't turning up in numbers, even teams up in that North East league Dunston, Whitley Bay, Spennymoor get very big regular crowds but stay at that level where they enjoy success which obviously helps with crowds and they have a good go at the vase every year, perfect ambitions for a step 5 club. A lot of clubs have gone to the knackers yard after chasing promotions the club itself couldnt sustain and when inevitably a money man or a manager moves on the club are left totally beached and broke. anyway just a thought that occurred.

Bur he can only claim from Carshalton where I assume he is meeting up with the two  assistant referees.

Likewise Will Finnie (Luton) from our league is assistant at Dunston but can only claim travel from Newcastle
