I was waiting for that.

In our current position with the re build on both teams, we are getting one thing right at a time.

Having 4 official warnings from the league and County FA, something had to be done.

It appears that praising things like this deflect from the run of poor results. 1 win since late October for both sides speaks volumes.

 

Fair play is important don't get me wrong but most teams would rather be at the top of the league itself rather than top of the fair play league.

 

Afc Dunstable have always had a competitive side over the years, let's hope that soon they are competing for the league itself which is something to be praising rather than losing regularly but praising it as ok because they are doing well in the fair play league.

I am mainly talking about the respect side. Which Is basically a league for teams that keep moaning at referee's.

Of course we hope to be challenging again at the top of the table next season but not whingeing all the time at officials.

We have 13 bookings this season for that. Teams at the top Ampthill (5). Hanwell (1). Berkhamsted (7). Colney Heath (4). Hoddesdon (4).

So it can be done.

Can I find this fair play table online anywhere? Id be interested to see how it compares with the real league table.

Your Secretary will have had a copy.

Berko have 7 bookings for dissent. 2 for delay re start of game. 2 for 2 yellows. 2 for bench misconduct ( big points for this)

Not sure to be honest. We have a group of players who just want to get on with playing football the right way and play good attacking football.

That is where we are hoping to be soon.

Players we have signed seem to have that attitude and once settled it should be forthcoming.

This type of thing should be online for all applicable Leagues, for all to see... Name and shame a few clubs.

I'm sure if the league wanted to publish they could. Not really sure what benefit naming and shaming in public would have other than general interest or nosiness. To be honest all this would do is end up in slanging match on this forum.

 

They are circulated to each club so awareness around the league and those that need to be aware is evident.
