Good to hear that George Borg is continuing to strengthen his squad with the signing of Nathan Livings, a 22 year old striker, who has previously played for Concord Rangers and East Thurrock this season.

Tomorrow is a crucially important must win match for the Town. This is a great opportunity to build on recent much improved performances, secure three points, and start a winning sequence.

The weather prospects are encouraging, so let's hope the game goes ahead, we get a good attendance, with plenty of vocal support for our players, and they make home advantage count.

Well done to the players and to George!!! Not the best performance but it's the result that counts. It feels great to win a game - our first since August and our first clean sheet since I don't know when! Well done to the Ultras - you just seem to get better and better. Keep it going!

Time to take a totally unbiased and completely objective look at the positives and negatives from the game.

 

The Positives:

1) Our first league win in 16 games!!!

2) Our first clean sheet in league or cup in 33 games!!!

3) The first time we’ve moved up in the league since 31 August when we moved up from 14^th to 12^th!!!

4) The Ultras! Just like Beveren all over again!!!

5) George and players acknowledging us behind the goal after the game!!!

6) The general atmosphere and vibe!!!

7) Being 17^th in the form table for the last 4 games!!!

8) All the teams around us dropping points!!!

 

The Negatives:

1) None!!! (Though it looked like we should have had a pen. Will be interesting to see Cold End’s vid.).

If we beat E.Thurrock next Saturday we will only be 3 points away from safety. (4 points if you include our current negative goal difference to those around us)
