Can't make this one so selfishly hope it does get called off! Weather looks good though, although the rain has hit Marlow quite badly I hear. Guy will be a huge miss but if the lads show the same desire as midweek things should go well. COYR!

I would guess, like most places, it's only really serious if next to a river/sea etc.

The positives:

Thought Parsons was excellent and was my mom. Fraser, wheels and Warren Harris all had excellent games too. Thought Leigh was impressive too. Good to see Smithy back and a promising debut from Cornell who showed good touches and movement and was unlucky not to slide in the winner at the end.

Great finish from JD after a cracking through ball from Mcclurg. Thought Max's shoot stopping and generally handling was very good.

The sun got an assist for Wazza's goal.

The negatives: we are conceding too many silly avoidable goals. We seem to be on the wrong end of a lot of bad refereeing. The penalty nobody appealed for and there is no photographic evidence to support so how did he reach that conclusion?

Felt we went slightly off the boil after equalising when if we could have just maintained that tempo the game was there for the taking.

You look back on the game and you feel it should be a comfortable 2-0 win which it would have been but for a harsh penalty and a howler.

I felt a draw was about the right result, although maybe Marlow feel as if they should have won it, as they could easily have nicked it at the end.

I also feel that for large spells of the game Marlow were the better team, forcing several good saves from Oberschmidt. This is a little worrying seeing as they're currently in 13th place having won only once since November (and that was against Ashford).

There appeared to be little urgency in trying to win the game, and you almost felt as if the players had settled for the 2-2 draw towards the end. Play like that against this sort of opposition (never mind the better teams) for much longer, and we can forget about promotion.
