League Cup v Burnham

Can't see the match being on tonight with the amount of rain falling this morning. At this rate the match at Marlow must be in doubt too even if the forecast is right and it improves after today. I assume these people who want to see a winter break in the game will arrange for the rotten weather to take place at the same time.

Can't say it is looking too promising for tonight, as it is hammering down where I am presently and did all night:

However if the game is on the squad will be as follows:

Matt Bonnett, Sean Fraser, Ryan Parsons, Guy Hollis, Dave Woozley, Michael Blount, Adam Foulser, Warren Harris, Darren Wheeler, Jake Parsons, Leigh Rumbold, Jamie McClurg, Ben Edwards, George Short, Seb Castello, Scott Harris

Only one striker?

JD not fit or just not available?

Well finished 3-3 and we then lost 4-2 on pens.

Went two nil down in the first half despite playing pretty well. Roared back at the start of the second half playing at a high tempo and two goals from Scott Harris had us deservedly level. Got caught out from a corner to allow a free header for 3-2 before Hollis grabbed the equaliser late on.

Thoroughly entertaining game and very encouraging performance. Roll on Saturday and a return to winning ways.

Really enjoyed the game tonight.

I thought the team showed some real character tonight with an excellent second half fight back after, what must be said, was a sloppy first half gifting Burnham their 2 goal first half lead.

Fought back to 2 each with some excellent play and then conceded a 3rd goal from an unmarked header from a corner.

Again showed great spirit to level at 3 -3 and then dipped out on penalties which, to be honest, I'm not too worried about.

Very impressed with Leigh Rumbold on his debut tonight.

My MOTM was between Warren Harris and Leigh Rumbold with 'Rummy' getting the nod for an excellent debut and a goal to boot.

I'm sure Leigh Rumbold scored one tonight.
