7-3

Good to be back.

Thought Harpendon didnt deseve that score, the pitch was very soft which led to mistakes by both sides.

But, however, a side can only beat whats in front of them. And we did. Nice atomosphere too.

To be honest, this squad should gain promotion, regardless.

Plus kassie Browne, Mr Caswell is going nowhere, allegedly. After another Hatrick today that pressure may increase, but for now.......

PREMIER DIVISION

0-4 Oxhey Jets v Hanwell Town

We were poor in the first half but a half time team talk from Mr Duffy seemed to get the team going and we were much better in the second half. Good to see E.Casey come on and score against his old team and another 2 goals from Conner Duffy that's 4 goals in the last three games for him now.

Lewis Putman started the game for Oxhey Jets FC today.

We were well looked after as always by the Oxhey Jets FC officials.

Oxhey Jets are a better team then they were when we played them earlier in the season good luck to them for the rest of the season.

Good luck to Lewis Putnam, hope he has made a full return to fitness and can regain the form he had in his last season at Oxhey.

Putnam will do well at Wealdstone I reckon. Needs to get to full fitness first- glad to see he's taking his first steps back to it by playing for Oxhey today!

He did'nt play the full 90 mins and he still cant score against us ;)

Great to see him back playing though.

I thought S.Armstrong looked a decent player for Oxhey Jets they need to keep hold of him.

I spoke to a very confused Putman after the game and he said "Hanwell had more players from last year's Jets team than we did!" He even celebrated former striking partner Eoin Casey's goal, before realising what he was doing. Was great to see him back, as well as former Britain's got talent winner Ashley Banjo and Montserrat international Dale Lee, in a star-studded game at the ground formerly known as "Fortress Boundary".

Putman was confused cos he never got a kick all afternoon oh yes he did when bywaters kicked him well super coach tony moore must come back and help oxhey

Was told it was Putmans first game since his injury he did show turns of pace at times but he didn't see much of the ball but he is playing with a different Oxhey Jets team then he did last season of course.

It was the first time we have won at Oxhey Jets since the 08/01/11.

I heard coach Moore was at the game but was apparently banned from the clubhouse?? He had to decline former captain Bywater's invitation for a drink after. Bywater himself was being ignored at the bar for quite a while I noticed. Madness, especially as you often hear good things about the hospitality there.
