Anyone know why Wexham Park has been tidied up?  There were pictures in the past where it looked awful but from one of the pictures on this thread it seems to be in a much better state.

 It is a shame that Slough Council do not take the same attitude to the Rebels as Poole Council takes to the Dolphins.

Does Poole have the same school requirements as Slough i.e. Kalsa Free schools etc?

 

Isn't it also a fact that because Arbour Vale is ex school land it is down to the Department for Education not Slough Council?

There was a very interesting and completely practical decision just made by Windsor and Maidenhead council (I know - the two don't seem to go together - Practical and council)

 

where they have halted their housing policy and are revisiting the land that has been put aside for houses being built in the next 15 years. They are making sure that houses are not built in areas that recently flooded.

 

This could be something to our advantage if SBC decide to do the same, as the AV site is a non-flood area and would be prime for the houses that have already been allocated under the grand community plan put forward with our ground.

 

SBC have always said that housing is one of the main targets and they also say that our project is high up on their list, so maybe this just might be the Impetuous that is required to kick start it

Another nasty accident down Wexham Road this morning, just what we need really in that area is more schools, bringing more traffic.

 

Just hope everyone was ok.

Yes seen the 2 cars the white one left front totally smashed in, the blue one will be a right off asthe whole of the pasenger side smashed in.

So yes another school there would be a major accident waiting to happen
