Slough Kitman Im happy to have made it clear that my remarks re the Thornes did not apply to you I don't know what you think of the Thornes. Martin has got it spot on though The deal you end up with depends on how competently you negotiate with the landlord I know we don't have a raffle but no reason why we shouldn't if we could get 4/500 at WP why would the programme money stay the same? As Ive said having our own ground is the best solution but nothing should be excluded imo in the long term interests of the club

Interesting to read the comments regarding the volume of support. I've always been a keen advocate of trying to encourage a loud and positive atmosphere regardless of scoreline and performance which admittedly is not easy. However, we are limited in the number of voices who will join into a started chant and more so recently the actual number of chants we have. Whilst it is difficult to pick up new chants, let's see what we can do. From my limited attendances this season, I'm yet to hear a Bakes and Unders Rebel army chant, is there a reason why? Another easy one which people can join in with. Perhaps this does needs. Separate thread to encourage new chants and get more joining in, particularly under the covered end at SYCOB

Just a thought whilst there is nothing wrong discussing this issue on the forum, wouldnt it be better to start to bombarding Slough Council with questions instead, just to remind them we are still here.

 

Oh and can we leave the ages of supporters out of it please, starting to get a complex now, arnt I young Mark 44 xxx
