Poster of the Year - 2013

Recommended Posts

Saw this thread on the another forum and thought it would be a bit of light hearted fun for on here.....

Basically who is the poster of the year in our forum?

Who talks the most sense?

Is it Reading and his rumours? Windsor and his predictions? Sue and her love for Guy Hollis? GH4 for fooling everybody that he was Guy Hollis?

Hotspur - For getting so many of you to bite. You all kept saying ignore him, then didn't! He generated more traffic than most football related posts.

I think anyone that goes onto a football forum just to be blatently negative and controversial just to get under peoples skin, will always get more traffic.

Hope you don't think I'm creep-arseing but our joint managers should be the poster/s of the year for keeping us informed and not being afraid to come on here and face the flack [until Hotspur's hot air got to them] !

They have been great for this forum and we-the fans are far better informed now, which I for one, appreciate.

Had this happened with the previous manager,a lot of rows and misunderstandings could have been cleared up and we

still might have had Cookham Rebel with us on this forum now !

He was never a Hotspur.

The award for not posting this year, has to go to "Barry Scott" - aka Liam - not posted on here for a number of years but still a legend.

The Haemorrhoid award goes to Hotspur - the title says it all.

Squatters of the year, is a joint award for those who have no one to talk to on their own sites - Rother and Older Ram (now get back to your own sad forums)

Welcome visitor from another forum, is Royston Jez.

Most excuses award, goes to Neil - the grass was too green for the boys, the ball was too round, the refs whistle was too loud , Jon's head was too shinny ..........

Most predictable post after a defeat award, Clive T and Nathan - we are trying to be positive, honest.

Oh no I totally noticed I guess a joke doesn't come across on this forum

Yes,you've hit the nail on the head there Hammer ! ha ha ! lol !

Do think posters should put laughter or emoticons after their posts to let people know wether they are joking or not, as writing on the forum can easily be misconstrued and taken out of context.

It's all OK... I don't take things too seriously, and bearing in mind Clive was talking about the shiny head of Unders thought it was in jest!!!!

Anyway Happy New Tear to all... hope to see as many as possible this afternoon, with the Slough connection, I am sure it will be a competitive game!!!

If it has offended anyone I apologise, however it does just go to show how this forum has become so politically correct and if you are not pulling in the same direction as everyone else you get criticised - how boring has this forum become.

New years resolution - to sign off and never use this site again.

Don't go Clive T ! I believe in free speech. Thought your post was funny.

I might have been a touch more tactful about Jon's lack of hair, as sometimes being personal when you do not know someone can offend.

That's why I think its best to write ha ha or lol after jokes,to show you are joking and not being personal.
