Does anyone know if it's the first time Slough have had two sets of brothers in a squad?

Haven't counted them but during season 1962-63 Alec and Roy Nairn will have played in the same team as John and Peter Ford on a number of occasions.

I can remember the Dell brothers, one name was Tony.

Tony and Bobby Dell, yes I remember them

Very unusual two pairs, though. Seems like KGB has found two pairs from the year before I was born !

Lino,I was meaning brothers in the first team /first team squad really but  suppose reserves could count.if they played in the first team at some point.

Only there were many pairs of brothers but having no records to hand of reserve/squad players from yesteryear its hard to prove.I can think of Reardon bros.Osullivan bros.Hartridge bros Cooper bros.Roy and Alan davies etc.Acording to the data base on the official website the two Cooper bros played in the same team as the Wells bros. in 1931.

A little further quarrying of the memory reminds me that Gordon and Keith Murray played for the club around the same time as Alec and Roy Nairn. I also recall the talented and combative brothers Barry and Roy Davies in the mid-1970's.

Before my time (just) but one of my cherished football books tells me that at one stage in the 1950's Slough Centre could field three sets of brothers-Albert and Cliff Trott (English), Gwilys and Trefor Alderman (Welsh) and Larry and Billy Rafferty (Irish). Of those, the only one I ever saw play was Cliff Trott-for Wycombe Wanderers in the isthmian League.
