Firstly,

Thanks to the crew from across the Island for their weighted Christmas greetings, I hope you have a good new year. I did hear that a load of grapes were flown into Manston but, were rejected as being to sower for our palets. Unfortunatly some one forgot to secure the rear cargo hold doors, the entire load was spilled over the plot of waste land at the far end of Prices Avenue as it atempted to leave the country. My condolences to the family of the Rabbit which had poked it's head above ground, no doubt it will be sadly missed by the few.

This coming year looks to be a massive one for "MARGATE FC". Off the field the excitement is building, the whole town is awash with stories about the Club and it's future plans. The new Owner seems to be a ball of energy,he talks the talk, as his business ventures prove he can certainly walk the walk.

I hear so many times from so many people "Cookie" that they will not believe it until the diggers arrive, let's have a beer tent, lets have music, hold it in Tivoli Park and invite everyone who want's to come to do so to witness the occassion.

On the field the arrival of "Terry Brown" and "Stuart Cash", They have a track record second to non in non league, with Mr Lasletts backing and their knowledge it is back to the "Onwards and Upwards" days.

The promise of more of Ryan Day's excellent interviews and match highlights. Well done Ryan, Keep it up.

I look forward to watching(pitch allowing) the further developement of the u21's and both under 18 teams. The U21's under "Andy Woodward" are holding their own this season while we have a exceptional crop in the Premier u18's team under "Will Graham" and a group in the south league under "Paul Zannette" (hope i spelt it correctly) who have pulled of some great results of late. Also I would love to see more interest and encouragment for the kids on match day's from "Blues fans".

My main hope looking this coming year is being able to watch good, fast, flowing football amongst friends with an increasing crowd of happy, positive supporters. Play off's would be nice.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
