You must be joking.

But well done for beating us. You deserved it and outplayed us.

Credit where credit is due, however I feel it is a reflection on how poor we have become, rather than how good Hornchurch are, although I am not going to deny that you are a good team by Ryman standards. But a decent division 3 side (which we are not) should still be too good for you.

It has now hit home, that unless things change drastically we will be leaving the league next season. I do not take back my statement that we should have expected to beat you......we should.

But we just aren't good enough, as shown yesterday.

Good luck against Tranmere, but I think they will beat you, and good luck in getting promotion, which I hope you achieve.

Cheers Quakerz,

Not thinking about Tranmere yet, but yes, they are a second division side and yes, they should beat us. Who knows what lies in store?

As I think we both found out during our bit of pre-match banter on Saturday afternoon, we both know little about each other's clubs. However, I have sympathy for all supporters who get sh*tted upon by their clubs. Aldershot, Maidstone, York, Notts County, Leeds, Chester, yourselves and countless other clubs fans have all suffered at the hands of mis-management by clubs owners, boards and chairmen. As Peter Risedale showed with Leeds, w*nkers like him come and go, [****!!****] clubs up big time along their way, but football supporters are for life! They’re the ones left counting the cost of it all at the end of the day.

As a life-long supporter and former season ticket holder at West Ham, I know all too well about mis-management by a clubs board. West Ham, obviously relegated last season, but now robbed of our best players, the likes of which, Cole and Glen Johnson for example, come into your team from the youth set up only once in a blue moon.

I hope for Darlington and all supporters of clubs struggling with the same sort of problems, that you do find a way out of your problems. Whilst all fans obviously love beating any team, no TRUE football supporter would ever want to see a club go out of existence.

All the best for the rest of the season Darlo.

no prob lem Quake me old son...thats the beauty of it...they ALL think they should beat us...

we'll suck tranmere into the same trap and do them in as well..they wont like coming down here one little bit and they've already tagged us as an 'ALE HOUSE' team...he he he...great stuff...we love it...

by the way...you and your fellow fans deserve a big well done for all the effort yesterday...in getting here...in your behaviour whilst you were here.... and also in your unending support of your team...you do deserve better to be frank...it'll come....

good luck for the rest of the season...

by the way...apologies about the bar...it was on the orders of the police but we did open it at 11.45 anyway....and it was open after the game...

Err, I don't know who at Trannie has labelled you as an ale house team, but they'd be closer to the truth if they were talking about TRFC this season!

I think it's got the making of a classic cup tie and I'm looking forward to visiting you (assuming I can get a ticket).

I'm worried about this one!

Cheers guys and any good pubs nearby recommended????
