michael
Nice interview-thanks good to hear he takes a pride in clean sheets-plenty of those please. It may have been a bit worse than usual yesterday, but i do hope someone explains to messrs brown, cash and stuart, that Margate is one of the most consistently windy grounds in england,so don't hold your breath on it improving much between now and April

Coffin Ender
Lee Turner scored v Bashley in a Southern League Cup semi-final in 98. Top end to bottom end, one bounce - goal! I recall a goal kick being taken down the bottom end that night. Ball went 30 yards out, hovered in the air, then floated backwards and went for a corner! I suspect if we had been playing a Kent team that night it would have been abandoned.

Always Gate
Met him on a ferry once, had a chat and he remembered the game well. The roof of the coffin end used to bounce up and down in the wind, until it all flew off in one lump.
