Clubs will be automatically promoted subject to having the correct ground grading ie no need to apply.

I may be wrong but I think these 11 could promote as of today?

Why can't Dorking play home games, whats wrong now JR ?

It's all in the public domain, Duncs, and has been for the past few week.

Read through this and follow any links on the Dorking Advertiser web-site.

Reply to AnyFootballer, how can winning any league be pointless, winning the

league must give satisfaction whether promoted or not.

Not easy getting everything in place, best of luck to whoever gets promoted.

It's not pointless for the manger to win the league

The Manager is the only one who would benefit, but a club wouldn't get much themselves and certainly shouldn't be wasting money on it.

That is of course, assuming there is a budget in the first place, but Redrup makes a good point as the players also want to progress and will often depart, leaving the club in a worse position one season later.

I am sure Spelthorne and Staines Lammas are going up this year, and FWIW I'm pleased as it will be nice to see 3 up and 3 down in our League for a change. For third, I still have a feeling that AFC Croydon Athletic will be the ones to watch right now as things may be beginning to move on a return to their old ground, which will help massively. They also won't have a  fixture backlog as the Arena is superb when it's wet.

Agreed. Only the manager would benefit. Where as the players, would be told "well down lads, now we have to do it again" which I doubt many would do. Like i say, it's pointless winning the league if you can't be promoted. Let's be honest, winning the league is a bonus...offer a club promotion and I'm sure there accept that just as happily.

Spelthorne all the way for me there team oozes class , hats off to Johnno and the manager ( forgot his name) when I was there could see the potential after helping them get into ccl . I can see them imulating a similar course to guernsey into the Ryman for sure within the next season or two aslong as they keep that squad together . Eversley 2nd , knaphill 3rd

C / C Prem could be a cauldron next season, ASHFORD & CHERTSEY from the Southern League looking likely for relegation & CORINTHIAN CASUALS from the Ryman.

Only one of SOUTH PARK or WINDSOR for promotion and three top DIVISION ONE teams coming up.

I know one or two will say the PREM is more than a two horse race, not in my eyes.

But VILLA to win the VASE would be nice.

Merry Chrismas to all

Not forgetting Fleet Town and Guildford City - also relegation possibilities from Southern.
