Bins
Desperate for a fix of football I went to watch Slough Town v Uxbridge. Oh Dear, Oh Dear. I'd seen them lose to AFC Hayes a while ago and they were atrocious. Long ball game, little finesse. Same against Uxbridge. 'Keeper never played out via defence - long ball hoofed skywards all the time. Seems to be their tactic. Uxbridge played better to feet. Slough missed too many openings and suffered for it. Jake Parsons (the reason for this post) made a late cameo appearance as a sub but, apart from one dazzling piece of control and dribbling which brought rare applause, he looked lost in a side so dominated by belting it hopefully - but helplessly in the end - upfield. Never seen so many balls sail aimlessly out of a ground - must get dangerous driving near their place. Far rather watch us playing it to feet and using width, speed and ability to take players on and create chances.

However, you are right it was naff.
