I simply hope that all 3 are used to playing their football in 60mph plus winds every other week ?

Indeed, when having their chat, i wonder whether KP asked TB -'now tell me Terry, what sort of experience have you in managing a coastal team who play most of their home games in galeforce winds, making it all a bit of a frustrating lottery.

'i'll get  them training in a wind tunnel' he replied and got the gig

Today's conditions were the worst I have seen for some time. It wasn't the wind or the driving rain - it was the both at the same time particularly for spectacle wearers at the Coffin End in the 2nd half - a stand there would have filled up with water probably and given no cover anyway !   The pitch before Vertidrain and the pre-season application of  35 tonnes of drainage material might not have stood up to it but it did and just hope it holds out for Saturday with the expected rainfall this week.

The team performed pretty well considering all this and some neat football was played at times particularly the bit performed by Ryan Dolby that led to our goal  and it was nice to see the return of a fiery, I want it Charlie Ademeno when he was subbed on to the field of play.  Their keeper despite looking dodgy in the first half did a sterling job for them in the second as witnessed by the state of his kit at the end
