It will be good to see Tony finally get a chance with his hometown club. For a lad that made just one first team appearance he certainly divided opinion amongst fans but I think we made a huge mistake letting him drift away from the club. I think his goals for Hayes last year shows that.

He might have a point to prove on New Years Day...if selected.

TBF I think Steve Bateman did try to give Tony Mendy a chance but was let down on more than one occasion.

Also TBF to Tony I don't think he had any transport at that time and found it difficult to get to games. That was a couple of years ago and peoples circumstances do change.

Time will tell whether Tony Mendy fits into our motley crew and the way Slough play.

He must feel he has unfinished business, after the way he left the club.

He's proven he can score goals at our level and above and I'm glad we've been able to gain

his services.

He's definitely coming back into the Slough team,a better player than when he left.

Certainly and hopefully a more maturer player and more experienced in playing men's football rather than only under 18's when he was with us.
