Hartley Wintney 3 Ash Utd 1

Hartley got revenge on us with a similar story to our win the week before......they took the chances better than us

Hartley took the lead midway into the half, poor defending by us but a great pass & finish by Hartley. Ash then equalized just on halftime

2nd half Hartley got an early pen which they converted. We created chances to level but another good break Hartley scored again with a cracking low shot. At the other end we hit the crossbar twice & the keeper made several good saves but Hartley deserved the win

Very dissapointing result Gaz but I had a feeling this might happen,as I said last weeks result was very good this result is very bad it undoes the good work from last week, are Ash just gonna continue in this vein or are they gonna put some sort of plan together to resolve it,this club should be nearer the top than the bottom I can't believe people there are happy with this situation.

Great result for Epsom yesterday against a very good Wembley side the result was all the better as we had players dropping like flies on the day with man flu leaving us without a full bench to choose from not the best quality on show but no lack of passion from both sides, while I'm on here Stan who are you no one at Epsom knows who you are,are you going to the game on Tuesday?maybe you could introduce yourself

Cove lost again at home yesterday !  Im bewildered that Cove who finished strongly last season have probably lost some players but how come they haven't won a single league game at home and its half way thru' the season ?

Are there any Cove management/players on this forum who care to elaberate their thoughts on this matter ?

I was the manager at Cove for a while(4 games) BG but got the sack because of a string of poor results lol, there manager is a lad called Millers and he used to come on here but he hasn't for a while, he must be having a torrid time as a lot of people actually tipped them for the title this season but they are now heading towards the relegation zone,to be honest i don't give a feck if they do go down in my eyes serves them right its not the same way that i feel about Ash

Popped down to chalky lane yesterday reeling from the shock of the death of ex Lammas player Jimmy Stanford, who was a top player with a lovely left foot. Thoughts to his family and friends. On to the game and I have to say Lammas destroyed Epsom in every department. Epsom couldn't cope with the tempo staines set and the front 3 of Smithers, Butler and Charlie Ide was too much for them to handle. The first two goals came from a superb free kick from Jules and a penalty from Ben Jacob. Second half going down the slope Staines took it up a notch. Butler up top was causing all sorts of problems and a well worked goal for the 3rd see Charlie Ide notch is second in two games since his arrival. Then after that it became the Jamie Smithers show with him banging in a fantastic hatrick. Dan Lucas also got on the score sheet after retuning back to the club from Bedfont Sports. Great performance and a win i know the team would of dedicated to jimmy. Once again Rip kid.

A 0-0 draw away at Farleigh helped our plight slightly, moving us up to fourth from bottom with 1/2 games in hand over the bottom three.

Anybody who has played for the club when i did would never believe Ash Utd and relegation would ever be mentioned in the same sentence, but of course I understand that times have changed but I can't help thinking a lot of this situation is self inflicted by the club,I realise you are only a supporter and so am i lets hope those that run the club listen to me as much as they do you,as i have said to you before i am not the enemy and only want the club to do well.

Duncs believing in Santa, the best laugh I have had for ages.Scrooge is his middle name.

LOL Smudgey me old mucker, never thought i'd see me old club in this horrible state maybe i am being a bit harsh but it looks to me and others that the club is taking the money from BL and doing nothing to get bums on seats, what will happen when BL move on surely they have the insight to see this is only a temporary deal.

Have you seen the pitch? Not a surface to feel at home on.
