Seaney The Sheep
i can see that happening as he had 2 spells before as caretaker.
michael
on the surface timing very strange, but just the same; i think club have missed WW over last two seasons.(footballing aspect) 70% of goals come from mistakes and dead ball situations. at least there is someone available now who can take a corner/free kick as opposed to the powder puff stuff (walsh excepted ) that is normally served up as an excuse for a corner/free kick Pity he never made it under CK imo,so pleased he is back at the same time waynes level is probably ryman premier mid table so we read this morning that the club are disappointed with the mid table results-yet this is a team whose players are mainly ryman mid table quality (and i am happy with that ) but are the sound bites all a bit inconsistent ? Guernsey Tom
good signing in my opinion, when you look at the midfielders we have had since he left, few were better then Wayne, and I think more importantly he actually has some feeling about the club, as I said good signing and good luck to him. margate lad
Excellent signing. As said before on here by someone Wayne is passionate about this club and i am sure this will be shown on the pitch.

michael
I rate Bodkin very very highly, but i do not think set pieces are his forte. Ironic really that the type of midfield player the side needed was sitting/working on our own doorstep. maybe not the world's most creative of midfielders-but certainly as good as most at ryman level;notwithstanding his aerial ability-who can forget his two headed goals on one of his last appearances; where after decades of never heading a ball in anger, Wayne soared 'walshlike' to score as fine a headed goal as you will ever see. (a bit like the prolific borrowdale who has never scored-and then can't stop -;wayne then gets two headed goals in a match .more tonight please i would say that swapping ehui, azeez and fakinos (maybe he was unlucky ) for WW is a decent 'deal'

michael
as ever-mixed messages. Faversham report him as re- joining Margate as player-coach. may/may not be correct-probably just getting his role as academy coach mixed up i have no idea. mind you-whoever the new manager is (and still really hacked off that last one was relieved of his duties ) will have to go some to beat WW's unbeaten record as Margate manager. That given John Beales could very easily do the same thing. can feel a future quiz question coming up: In what season did Margate side have 3 players who had also managed the first team. holloway, wilson and beales in 2013/14. and another 5 months to add at least one more to that to that list of 3. probably Avo or Bodkins turn in about march when the new manager is dismissed after failing to win every game 5-0, and not meet expectations despite freshly imposed budget constraints requiring him/her to play teams that had 7 players from the U16 squad
Jeff Trice
Wayne was actually caretaker manager twice - losing three out of three in partnership with John Keister during February 2010. He then managed a 100% one game record in March 2011 alongside Craig Cloke and James Pinnock.
