Levy won again tonight against Hadley, winning by 2 goals to 0. Hard fought game but Levy's organisation won in the end. 2 wins and a draw for new manager Dene Gardner.

Glad things are on the up at Levy!

Ampthill won't be happy with yesterday's result

I don't think...

Also, I'd like to hear from Hertford fans on their not so 'new' manager- doesn't seem to have made things much better on face value (but I don't know the ins and outs)

Was at Hertford last & well 4-0 down after 20 minutes, St Albans treated it like a training session after that. I know there's 2 levels between the teams but it was more like 22 !!!

Had my reservations when Hertford appointed their new manager & they were well & truly confirmed last night. Totally clueless, & to think they got rid of Marvin Samuels for that football !!!

There was a good crowd there last night & if someone could get them to around Top 6 you would probably get a regular crowd of 150 plus.

Really good potential, but like Ware suffer from small town syndrome !

Ampthill not happy with that result of course but all credit to Berko who were very good first half and scored 2 brilliant goals. We were much better 2nd half but again Berko defended well and although we bombarded them they held firm.

Losing 2 games on the trot means winning the league is out of our reach but we will fight for 2nd or 3rd place. The signing of Graham 'tonka'

Clark and last night of a central midfielder from AFC will bolster the squad and hopefully pick the boys up.

Is the central midfielder from AFC Dunstable, has had no 7 day approach from Ampthill ?

MIDDLESEX CHALLENGE CUPSECOND ROUND

Not a bad result as we rested a few players.

Also Tom Inch (Ex Oxhey Jets) made his debut yesterday.

It's a very long season Ampthill! Still in the Vase of course! But I have to admit Hanwell slipping up looks unlikely.

After complaining last year it was a one-horse-race it looks to be the same again :(

A long way to go yet.

highlights of the big Vase match at Colney Heath -

Have a look from 6m 55secs which is the first yellow card given for the red card incident. No way foul in my book. A comitted challenge yes but not a foul

The referee also rated the challenge from 2m 45secs as a foul which drew a interesting response from the home players.
