as above-here we go again.

one suffers the conditions/ground -lack of progress etc and keep coming back-but this one takes the biscuit.

assuming it is correctly reported-and not for reasons other than results-utter madness.

not that anyone cares but after 50 years my support/loyalty  seriously diluted.

what sort of results are expected.

It would not surprise me at all if we now get relegated-and probably deserve it to after this decision.

anyone could see from the psf's that this was not a budget/team for top 5.

even if the club were to get promoted-what's the point without the infrastructure in place

could'nt careless if someone like Mourinio was appointed-still would not do any better .

seriously reckon club are now in a relegation battle-and whilst i hope by end of week i feel different-at the moment-completely disillusioned, and feel 'serves 'em right' if they get relegated.

not that anybody cares, but whilst endeavouring to drive down for tomorrow nights game (may yet decide to go to Dover instead),i think i'll give MFC a wide berth for a while after tomorrow.

Dare i admit-i almost want us to lose tomorrow night-again-hopefully, i will feel different at 7.45

madness and really hacked off.

hopefully, i will feel different in 72 hours

accepting that like the proverbial iceberg-you only see/read/hear on the surface about one tenth of what is actually going on,again-if itis correctly reported that this is simply a results based decision-20 minutes later-even more annoyed.

not usually one for ranting-but heck-this is lunacy

Absolute madness. Even those on here who won't accept any criticism of the club must accept that.

The majority of successful clubs are the ones who have a bit of stability, consistency and loyalty. None of which seem to feature in the world ok Margate football club.

If the directors of the club are trying to p*ss off what few supporters we've got left then they're going about it the right way.

My problem with the club and part of the reason for my lack of interest in recent years is due the a lack of progress in the stadium's development and also on field matters. I think that both things come hand in hand. If we get our new stadium, I think better players will be attracted to the club. I applaud the club for getting us back to HDP but this saga has gone on for long enough. Good players want to go to a club with ambition and for me that can only be demonstrated by the quality of its facilities. Look around you, Dartford, Maidstone, Ebbsfleet and Dover, all have good facilities and have progressed well in recent years. I think I can speak for some of the stay away supporters. If the ground was developed into a better stadium with all the comforts as planned, people would become interested again. I hope this meeting brings good news regarding the stadium. Fingers crossed......................

Staying away is counter-productive though and although I agree with your sentiment in build it and they will come, if you and other supporters stay away in quiet protest... who pays for these facilities you are calling for???

My circumstances have changed as i'm a shift worker and I now have a young son so my priorities have changed. I've been a supporter for some 20 years and I've always used the time to spend quality time with my grandfather who still manages to get up to HDP on a regular basis. I agree that the stay away attitude is counter productive but frustration and a lack of delivery on the pitch and off have contributed towards mine and many others decision not to bother. I totally agree with what you are saying and appreciate your point of view but everyone must be feeling these frustrations............
