there is no restriction of any kind in ryman league prem footie with regard to musical instruments....

I am however told that at designated FA Cup games there is a ban on air horns....

I have of course explained to the chief inspector that the horns he heard were coming from the vicinity of romford and were probably car alarms going off as the locals went on a spree of destruction in an orgy of envy and resentment due to the urchins success....

he did of course agree with me and has also accepted that the same thing may happen against the skiving scousers....

he said theat he'd arrest arthur wenbourne if it happens again...

'tis merely a term of endearment dear boy...we know our place and wouldn't dream of enraging the aristocrats of Division 2...

we shall of course offer no more than token resistence for 10 minutes and then accept gracefully our certain defeat upon the battle blades of Nationwide swords...

mind you...wait till you hear the ads on talk sport....now there's a thought..whats the local wirral radio station called...we'll give you all a good larf...

no worries, used to the scouser stuff now!!

Local radio stations are pretty poor when it comes to Tranmere as they all worship those other ones across the mersey! BBC Radio merseyside is ok on occasions but the presenters on it are boring! something like 95.8fm up here, think they do a footy phone in on a monday so you may get a mention if you can get it down there some how! We are just an after thought normally, although after Everton drop out of the cups at the first hurdle a few yrs ago, they suddenly became interested in us every know and again!

I am sure you will offer resistance for much more than 10 minutes too! (unfortunately for us) It will be a close game I think!
