"An EGM has been called for Shareholders of Margate Football Club on Tuesday 17th December at 7pm sharp. Letters notifying Shareholders of the EGM are being posted today.

There will be a fans forum straight after the EGM but the club would like non shareholders to know that they will not be allowed into the Thanet Cars Sports Bar until the EGM has finished which should be around 7.30pm.

More information concerning the EGM will follow soon."

DONT LIKE THE SOUND OF THIS !!!!

First Tuesday without a game. Might be a few more there than last Tuesday.

I think its to inform the shareholders that their monies invested have quadroupled and that  we are expecting at least six points from the holiday games...... oh and we are gonna win the league.....................................................happy christmas peeps :)

given up worrying about things i can't influence.

With reference to the forum aspect-i wonder whether that will be concentrating on business matters raised in the EGM-or whether it will be open to questions on both that aspect-and on field matters-so that Mr Osborne-and maybe the club captain will be there to answer questions relating to playing matters.

BGA may be right-although if i recall correctly-some previous forums have had the manager there ,and if non shareholders are invited to the forum, could it just be that playing matters will also be discussed at the forum ,in which case would it make sense to have someone other than the club directors to answer such questions ?

there again,it is well proven that i know nothing.

no major surprise- a 'cull' always happens after you exit the cups.

maybe fairer on the players and the club if they are never going to be regular starters.

from the little i saw-i did think Fakinos had what it takes-so a bit disappointed in that one.

unlikely i know-but if it does free up a bit of money to have one quality player who is a certain starter-is that better than having three squad players.

that given- i expect it is  purely money and that the latter scenario won't happen.

still -as i have always posted-could'nt give two hoots about play-offs (even though i want to win every game ) and will be happy for club to be in this league next season and be financially viable.
