Thought I would drop in. Firstly, do you guys reckon you can beat us? To be honest, it is a bit of a potential banana skin for us to say the least. I hope/think it will be on sky for your benefit and ours (if away teams get a cut which I think they do).

 

Also, where abouts are you? I have been told you are in London, if so which part? I don't mean to sound dis-respectful asking where you are either.

I am hoping to get down to the game but money so close to xmas may be a problem!! How much did you charge for your game with Darlo and is it likely to be increased much?? any idea how many tickets we will be given?

Cheers for the info! £6.50??? Thats great - considering I am forking out £16 for Barnsley on saturday!! If I was your chairman/board I would hike it up to a about £12.

 

I ain't going to start mouthing off like some darlo fans either - looks like some of them got what was coming to them!

Beating Darlington is one thing, beating Tranmere will be quite another. It is a step up especially considering that Tranmere were Div 1 a couple of seasons back. However taking into consideration how well we played today and the other good results for Thurrock and Ford against Div 2 opposition anything could happen. Either way, I'm sure it will be yet another memorable day.

TRFC, Joking aside I feel you will be alot tougher than Darlo. We were great today, but at the same time they were poor and its no surprise to see them where they are in the league.

 

Will be a good game no matter what, its what the cup is all about and I can't wait!

I said we should put up the prices but Unc and Co were true to their word and kept the price the same (they're the business people not me!!!). We await an announcement next week about the game (TV coverage, date, time , tickets, price etc).

Tranmere fan here. First of all congratulations on beating Darlington, cracking result! Having been the underdog and beating Premiership teams such as Southampton, West Ham and Sunderland it is a nice change to be the 'BIG' team. It is potentially a tricky encounter for us and we will certainly not underestimate you. I believe that it is the wrong time to play us, if the game had been pre-Little i believe we could easily have lost. I think Brian Little coming in has turned the corner for us and we should edge it. It is the FA cup however so you just never know! Unfortunately i will not be able to make the game, as ironically enough i shall be in Darlington celebrating my girlfriend and my second anniversary. I hope it is on TV so you get a bumper payout and so i can watch it! The vast majority of Tranmere fans are fantastic and i hope you enjoy the merry banter. Best of luck for the season (except the Tranmere game!)

I can't get over it i had a nigalling feeling that if we scored first we could do them what a farce some of their players where to their own fans ! Laughing when they lost !
