Ashford Town are a team…

…who are bottom of their league.

Their league is one level below us.

They have 6 points from 18 games so far this season, and have a goal difference of -39.

On average they score 0.9 goals per game (16 from 18).

On average they concede 3 goals per game (55 from 18).

We were 1-0 up at half time (Mitch Hahn).

And we had the mighty Chris Wild as one of our corner flags in defence.

We lost 3-1.

No

It demonstrated we have many youngsters who will learn. They have the skills but need to look up more to see the best move. A lesson that many senior players in the premier league have not learned.

They are not afraid to shoot from outside the area but must put power rather than concentrate on placement into those shots.

Excellent job as always Cold End! Many thanks indeed for your regular hard work.

(By the way, it did confirm what I suspected at the time: Wildy did actually block a shot on goal. The only problem was he was in the Ashford penalty box at the time and it was us who were trying to score).
