Swifty
Okay, apparently it was against a second string Enfield Town side in the Middlesex Senior Cup, but....WE WON!!! Well done, lads. Must feel really good, especially after being a goal down at the break and having had to get those muscles ready for a trip round the M25 so soon after Saturday. Quarter-final at home to either Harefield United or (more likely) Hayes and Yeading United on February 11th. Get in!!!

Tel
This was tweeted on the Enfield site Regarding Ashford …who are bottom of their league. Their league is one level below us. They have 6 points from 18 games so far this season, and have a goal difference of -39. On average they score 0.9 goals per game (16 from 18). On average they concede 3 goals per game (55 from 18). We were 1-0 up at half time (Mitch Hahn). And we had the mighty Chris Wild as one of our corner flags in defence. We lost 3-1.
fatboyatmfc
Couldn't care less what opposition think about us. We know we can play and we can and should have picked up more points this season. Well done lads! Winning becomes a habit. Let's get hooked!
Swifty
Goals for Adam and Cyril last night, according to ETFC's website. Very pleased for Adam who, I think, has been our hardest working player since he joined the club. Also good to see Cyril got on the scoresheet again. Worth trying them out as our front two for the next couple of games?
SlimBoyFat
And Weighty got the third. Good result irrelevant of what side they put out, hopefully will bring back some of the belief and confidence we've been missing.
Pitbull
The Enfield team was stronger than is suggested by some trialing a few under 21s.We had Elliott and Perry missing and gave a debut to Jacob in goal who performed extremely well. Agreat show from the lads coming from behind tosecure a deserved win.

Swifty
So that's three young keepers used in successive games, all of whom appear to have acquitted themselves really well. Encouraging signs for the future.
Pitbull
Sorry although a very good performance I'm not sure it deserved saying it twice.

lazarus
There is a summary from Enfield and a video at http://www.thecoldend.blogspot.co.uk/ The person who did the match report in my absence gave the third goal to Adam (as per the web site) but I think the dubious goals panel will have to sit as Adam was nowhere near it. It looks as if it should have gone to Scott Weight

Swifty
Yes, but we'll have a Weight off the pitch soon! We need to work big time on our discipline. Still, the lads should take heart from Monday's result and go into Saturday's game with confidence.
