3rd & 4th December Matches

Recommended Posts

Park 6 B Lea 1. Refs first game at this level and hopefully last. Terrible. No flow to the game at all. Decent win. Chris smith back on for 20 after injury and gets a brace. 2nd a lovely little penalty.

Does he not get the chance to gain experience then Scouse and learn ?

I would usually go, but not too keen on giving money to Dipre who seems to have waged a bit of a vendetta against some long standing fans.

I have decided to give it a miss when I found out they are charging £10.   for a SSC game!!!

Wimbledon would have charged £7 max and lobbed in a programme with that.

That's about ten people I know that have changed their minds about going...what a tosser.

Very poor goal keeping

Exactly what I thought.

Not only is the wall badly placed but he doesn't trust it to do its job as he hides behind it in the middle of the goal. He would have been better off with no wall.

Think God has a hand in Camberleys unbeaten run then Kroons?

Of all the people to pick me up on my spelling Smudgey :)

although I do understand that we kick the ball so high and long he may have flicked a couple on and earned himself an assist or 2 :)

I went too spectate Lammas v Farnham Res last night in what was a very exciting game. I believe there were a few changes made from

Saturday with Redrup, Ryan, Richardson and Martin all coming in for Hodge, Jacob, Stone and Ridley respectively. Staines started on fire and went 1 up within a minute through the in form Gary James. 10 mins later Ricthie Butler doubled the lead and then Jamie Lee Smithers soon made it 3! Staines were playing some good stuff the midfield 3 of Weathrall, Redrup and Bamford all joining in well with the front 3! The game then changed on the hour mark when Captain Redrup was sent off with a tackle you would probably only see in the NFL! Farnham gained momentum from this and soon equalised from a headed corner. With confidence flying high the young Farnham side grabbed a second and had great belief that they could take this to Extra time. They weren't wrong as the equalised in the 96th minute I believe. So extra time I believe a Lammas were down to 9 with Chris Baker getting shown two yellows. With penalties looming Farnham nicked it at the death to snatch the win and a fantastic comeback.

I like how 6-1 is now seen as a 'solid' performance for us. I would have thought solid would be 2-0 or 3-1 :)

Although I guess when your goal difference is higher than nearly every other team's 'goals scored' then people start expecting these results!

Does anybody know the record goal tally for a team in this division by chance? I imagine Guernsey hold it, do they?

Not sure they do SP.  I think back in the early days there were thunderous amounts of goals although AFC Wimbledon will not be far away from the most I am sure.

Do AFC Wimbledon have home games in the SSC Cup jertzee?

We have had up until this year, and I thought I read somewhere in a programme that all this season's SSC games would be away from home, even if we had the home draw, but not 100% certain.

Maybe I dreamt it, like I do scoring the winner in the FA Cup Final for Raynes Park Vale. :)

Can everyone stop what there doing please and praise South Park FC on their win last night - with 10 men!

Its this type of arrogant post that makes people hate SP, so Sao Paulo think you're going to break the scoring record now - you'll be nowhere near!

The only record you'll break is for the most ill disciplined club - how many sendings off now! You must have the worst record in league and I'm including Lammas in that!

I'm sure someone posted a disciplinary league table a while ago, be good to see it again.

The suspensions will mount up and that will be your downfall in Feb, March and April ... And we'll be there to pounce
