Lost from leading position again, lost to late goals again, lost to a side above us again. Seems we lacking a bit of steel maybe, certainly something needs addressing or tweaking. The ingredients are there to be right up this division I think. Another frustrating Saturday, another 3 good points in title race for bedford.

Levy won their first game under new manager Dene Gardner, winning by 2 goals to 1. Two league games 1 win and 1 draw. Hoddesdon were in 6th place and Hertford in 11th place. More to come I believe.

Great win for our firsts, was important after a good performance against Winslow we carried on. Heard it wasn't a great game though.

 

Disappointed with the reserves result, went 1-0 up, but just didn't defend well enough. 2 penalties summed it up. Nice bunch from Hoddesdon who certainly didn't give it the billy big bollocks as some have previously.

New Bradwell St Peter and Wolverton Town played out a goalless first half that was interesting for the contrast in styles, with Wolverton having the slightly better of things via a more direct approach. For their part New Bradwell were clearly figuring out how to play without recently-departed, lightning fast forward Freddie Yinka-Kehinde. Playing down the slope after the interval the suddenly incisive home side took a 2-0 lead and appeared to be coasting to victory, only to be pegged back by a determined Wolves through a goalkeeping error and a goalmouth scramble. Overall 2-2 was a fair result to an exciting match.

Barmaid a really friendly but lovely 9/10 Take note Giles!!! 

Ding dong battle 3 times Hadleigh led but for most of the second half WGC were better but even with 10 men Hadleigh found the upper gear to win it after it looked like going to a replay. Harsh on the WGC team and officials but that's football.

 
Spend the day with Steve C where we travelled to Sudbury then picked up the 91 bus that stopped 10 mins walk away from the ground.
