FITBhighlights
After seeing this on Saturday I've been thinking a bit as to whether a yellow card is sufficient for blatant cheating. What does everybody else think? Should players who are booked for diving be banned for a game or three? Is diving still common in both Football League and non-league football and will banning players help prevent it? If I was in charge I would put a 3 game ban in for diving http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeWvtmdxIKk&feature=youtu.be
Zippy
Had to re-run the video a few times. It looks like a bit of slight contact on the player, but not enough to make him go down Klinsmann-esque. It is poor behaviour and players should be warned about their conduct on the field as well as referees. In the UKFF v Ashtead game yesterday, the UKFF striker Jarrell Gray was scythed down and nearly had his leg broken. The referee booked him and called him a cheat despite the lad being in pain for 10 minutes. I wouldn't say that it warranted a three game ban though. I'd sooner go after those who bet on games and players who are using PED's and also getting around sine die suspensions illegally.
Sir Rebel1965
Whilst players see others getting away with it, they will then consider it themselves and it spreads to all levels - the thing is if you don't dive and the opposition are getting away with it, then are you disadvantaging your team? Would generally agree with the above comments that diving needs to be stamped out, but it then requires consistency from the officials, and they don't have cctv to confirm if it was a dive or a foul. The issue of betting will always be a problem, as like above, who is there to police it at non-league levels? As for drugs and PED's there is the usual recreational substances flying about, and what is classed as a PED? is it "nutritional supplements" or steroids? as some of the muscle mass on view at some games is not only gained in the gym! Slowly non-league football is being tainted by what alienated non-league supporters from top flight football.
Rhodes
It's becoming an epidemic now isn't it and Klinsmann's antics from yester-year are chicken feed in comparison

Coffin Ender
Those who watched Kent football in the 80s will remember Frank Ovard (Maidstone, Dover, Hythe, Folkestone and various other clubs) winning an insane number of penalties. It has always gone on. I think these days with all the camera angles it is more obvious to TV viewers.
Big J R
The F.A. and the officials on the day need to take a much firmer line.
