dannyriding
OK perhaps not the best performance of the season but there was more positive points than negative today. Moses was as a new player up for it..... (is that the term...) Warren Whitely is growing into his role Mr Cox plays forward and gives a good width to the team Mr Dolby - continues to hold a tight line and IMO is a player growing in strength and quality I could name more but in all honesty we as a team are not quite there yet, maybe a few tweaks here and there and we might (might) have a team worthy of the play-offs, but and there is always a but........ today will have cost us dearly because Canvey are struggling and we somehow contrived to make them look half decent. Mr Ademola apparently is on stupid money so good luck to the team that can afford to pay (half) his wages. Im not gonna think we are going to decimate this league with what we have, but I will say that given a bit of tinkering this team could just possibly be in the play-offs COYB
dflman
Oh ........................a Danny Ridding without codes such as WTF or FFS. We performed very well for the first half hour or so for sure and they were lucky that we didn't score a couple but second half we didn't get much of a sniff until we scored and then we started to put it together again so it is there somewhere. Still think Bodders should be on the right wing rather more than the left mid and he was MOM for me with some of the skills he showed. Why don't we play Cesc and Samoutis at the same time with Walshie slightly ahead of them behind Moses with Bodders and Dolby pushing up the wings ? Jab_n17
1-1 seemed a fair result...1st half was ours and they scored, 2nd half theirs and we score. Could have had a healthy lead if the finishing was more clinical in the first 45 mins. Getting there, but this league is a marathon and not a sprint and maybe we can turn it a round this time and have a strong finish into the New Year and not fall apart like towards the end of the last season and miss out a play-off place....... BlueBoydie
Only 14pts clear of the relegation zone now though Thamesmead Town are hot on our heels...is the game on New Year's Day now a six-pointer? (Please sense the tone before I'm accused of being a "keyboard warrior")
dflman
Six goaler would be nice
michael
how the 'eck do thamesmead draw against a decent side like Lewes who only managed a last minute equaliser, and margate lose heavily there ?
Coffin Ender
Thamesmead have signed quite a few new players.
BlueBoydie
I actually think Thamesmead have potential to pull away from the relegation battle.
