littlehampton
Not good news! Looks like an uphill struggle in the second half. Bad enough being two down, without having to play with ten men. Surely it can't get any worse, can it?

the viewer
Going from bad to worse. Lets get a new manager in sooner than later otherwise we are dead and gone. It appears to me that major changes in players needed as well.
lovely stuff
Half our team today had a defeatist demeanour and jumped into rash challenges,it seems, just in order to not have to chase back...The other half of the team gave full commitment to the end but did not have the quality to impose themselves on the game or create anything.Lets hope the new manager can bring in players with better quality/attitude..Unfortunately he may not be able to bring in the players needed at this time in the season and may have to wait till the end of the season to do so..Can this current squad keep us up,even if we get in a quality manager? StoneCold
Absolutely embarrassing is all I can say! No desire, no belief & no passion. Us fans spent the best part of 2 hours travelling to watch a team who simply didn't turn up....how would the players feel if one Saturday they walked out onto the pitch at Donkey Lane and as fans we decided to 'not turn up'? Maybe the club should tell the players they will no longer be getting appearance fees and instead give them a win bonus, maybe this will make them buck their ideas up! Steph
After the Lewes game I thought we cant be that bad again but we were against Bognor. Yesterday we plumbed new depths. Can we be worse than against Leiston. Of course we can!!!! Most on the touchline consider that a wholesale clear out is required. You follow a football team and you have favourites. Players who you hope will finish their careers at your club. Of the players who played yesterday. There is not one who I would regret if they left. My view of the display was that many of them already hace left in their heads This may be considered unfair especially for the youngsters like Kalu, Ossei, who scored a superb goal yesterday, and Whitely but football is a team game anf there was only one team on the pitch yesterday. andyetfc
It would be unfair to pass judgement on yesterday's game because I was not there, but what has been said in previous posts has been said for some time now. When ETFC came into this division players were given the chance to prove their worth. We just stayed up and players were given another chance. It didn't work so changes have to be made. Either change of players or change in application. Now I wait for the 'lack of financial resources' responses. Chicken and egg come to mind.
