Right, just returned from hospital in my neck brace on after watching this game !  ;)

Was looking forward to this game at Camberley Saturday to see title contenders battle it out, but I wish I never went....it was dire !

Going on what people have said, Camberley play ''lump it'' football and boy they did not disappoint, I really do pity their midfield players, how they can enjoy their game is beyond me, they must love doing shuttles ;) ..... but as results show it works for them, their plan is simple by lumping and picking up the seconds especially from drop kicks and free kicks !

Thinking I was going to see a contrast in styles, I was disappointed and surprised with Molesey, who were the team who can play and when they did at times by getting the ball out wide looked dangerous especially the first 15-20 mins whilst dominating play and possession, but with their strikers hold up play being poor, they too then resulted in going long themselves, so the ball was in the air more than on the ground !!! :(

Molesey number 9 had 2 good chances and should have done better, whilst Camberley made the Molesey keeper make 2 good saves. Both sides didn't do enough to win in my opinion, so a draw was probably the right result which obviously suits Camberley more than Molesey especially as the teams around them all won !

All in all, disappointed, a waste of money, a fiesty game, little football, got neck ache and poorly officiated in my opinion, in what was a stop, start game which personally speaking suited Camberley more than Molesey.

Sorry, won't be watching Camberley again, I cant afford another neck ache ;) !!!

Tomorrow its a visit to top of the league and title favourites South Park against Badshot Lea, then on Wednesday, see how CCL Molesey fair at Leatherhead in the Surrey Senior Cup who lie comfortably 4th in the Ryamn Siv 1 South.  Could the  CCL club spring a surprise against their rival Ryman club and beat them on their own turf ?   Think its going to be a difficult task !

Ha ha decent Krooner like it  :)

Strange comments coming from you who is intellectual ? Like you and many other forumrites give their opinion on the game they pay to watch thats what forums are about, or so I'm led to believe.    If I've upset you/Camberley and Molesey come to that with my honest opinion of Saturdays game then I apologise.  Would like to hear your views on the game....if you were there watching as well ?

Moreover, if you're not interested in my comments, there's one thing to do......don't read my post....simples!   ;) .

Happy to offer a refund to him.  Next time he is down he will only have to make himself known and I will pay for him to come in :)

There is no need to worry on that Krooner, save your money.  I wouldn't hold your breath either on that one, there's no way I'm going to be watching that rubbish again.  Obviously you are a Camberley supporter so you have to put up with that ''lump it'' football, personally I don't like it so wouldn't want to watch it.....I'm still trying to get over Saturdays neck ache !

As I said, the ''lump it'' style as favoured by Barnard, seems to be working well for Camberley, so if it works no need to fix it, its simply a personal view of the game that I prefer not to watch...

You hungry Bad Guy ?  Never suggested you were not entitled to your opinion or even that I disagreed with anything you said.  And the offer stands if one day you decide to visit Krooner again :)

For the first time in quite a while it was a nice and easy day for the Salts.

any times in the past we have started well but not scored and have sometimes struggled to put games to bed, but we found the answer on Saturday. The answer is to go in three goals up at half time!

Any Mole Valley supporters would have known it was not going to be their day when at 2-0 they had a shot blocked by an Epsom defender and from the clearance, our man broke away, rounded the keeper and scored our third.

We just have to keep putting the pressure on the leaders and see what happens.

Thank you for the invite Krooner, but as I say, unless Camberley change their style of play, I won't be going to Krooner Park.

Having said that, should styles change, I will take up your offer :D

Was you there watching the game Saturday ?  If so, what was your analysis ?

An interesting discussion on styles of play ...

I watched Camberley this season and agree they have a very direct style of play, but boy is it effective - they have two very good targets in Smith & Quarshie (ex Molesey?) And they look to get the ball forward to them quickly and build from there. Their delivery from set pieces is probably the best I've seen - I can only assume this is a good source of goals for them?

I think Molesey are very similar looking to get the ball foward quickly to Marvel and Baxter (is this the Baxter who was at Cove?).

In fact when I've seen Windsor and South Park they both play very direct, SP are probably the best exponents of the direct style as they have two very lively strikers and support them well.

You'll obviously say I am biased but I think Epsom are by far the best footballing team in the division and have a number of good ball players all over the field.

Also well done to SP on getting a clean sheet at home to a team who had lost 5 of their last 6 and lost their manager the day before the match and were obviously in total disarray!?!?

We'll see how you do against much tougher opposition in your next two league games Badshot and Molesey - keep a clean sheet in those two and I MIGHT start taking you seriously.

I gotta disagree, apart from saturday molesey are by far the best footballing side in the league, do you get out of this league by playing football I don't think so, south park are similar too camberley but with more quality! Epsom get the ball down and play and I do like watching them!

Excellent report on the Molesey website with the exception of the last few lines where the urge to have a go at us overcome the otherwise excellent reporter :)

Bedfont Sports 1 Horley Town 1

A game we should have won but all credit to Bedfont who never gave up. Went one nil up before half time with a changed side with a couple of new players before Bedfont scored straight from the off in the second hal. The sending off for Bedfont was harsh but I think it helped them as always hard to play against 10 men.

A very friendly lot of people at the club made to feel very welcome.

Ha ha class - what a classic South Park response, I suppose that's what happens when all your players and supporters come from the local council estate!

Will be tough for Park the next couple of league games. Had a decent 5-0 result at B Lea not too long ago.

They are obviously a decent side tho having turned you over on your own pitch. Sorry Chipsteads pitch.
