I always thought you were a bit like LATO that's all and didn't like venturing too far afield to watch games

 

Well you are wrong Mr Rhodes and not for the first time.

 

I enjoyed my first ever visit to Tring Athletic FC. A Nice ground in nice surroundings, a decent programe and a very very very nice clubhouse. My sort of ground.

 

Not the best pitch though.

PREMIER DIVISION

 

1-2 Tring Athletic v Hanwell Town

 

A massive result for us today and we deserved the 3 points but Tring Athletic battled hard all game and made it very hard for us to get the 3 points. Another 2 goals for Bill Healey today that's 33 in all compitions this season now.

 

With Ampthill Town losing today its been a very good day for the club.

 

Holmer Green whats changed down there ? they are on fire at the moment.

Yep a massive slope, grass cut a bit ruff,some white lines markings looked smeared and plenty of sand in one goal area in front of the kop end ;) .

 

Not the worst pitch but not the best pitch in my opinion.

 

But like I said in a earlier post I really liked Tring Athletics ground and clubhouse a lovely ground to watch a game of football in my opinion.

Another 3 points for us today at a ground that normally we don't so very well at, we were not at our best but were just to strong for the opposition, we had to make a few changes to the side that played Codicote due to injuries but we seem to have a better depth of squad this season. so pretty pleased as the TW@T wont be happy that we won.

OD's- did you have quite a few missing? Have the core of players (BJ, Burgers,Butler, Higley) departed now Alex has gone?

 

Terrific points for Bedford today. Another side who could be up there. Displaying terrific form (unbeaten in 9)!

Neutral - Only 5 "1st teamers" played yesterday. Sometimes you have to go back to go forward. Club has complete faith in Steve Heath. He will bring success, we are confident of that.
