Great performance by our players last night, a very we'll deserved victory against a decent team, only downside was the bad injury to our captain which should have been punished by the referee and the sad attitude shown by the away management team. Not impressed I am sad to say.

Yes the Referee did punish the player "that is the Kentish player" awarding a free kick to the opposition, for smashing into someone and hurting himself...must get the facts correct and tell the full story ..

Basher, you are correct the ref did award the free kick to your side because our player put his body between the ball and your player which in the opinion of the ref was a foul. But my complaint was and is still the way your player deliberately elbowed our captain as they fell to the ground splitting his ear in half which ended up with him going into theatre and needing twenty stitches. Your player should have been shown a red card. I think you need to speak to your player involved then you might get the true facts. Luckily for us our fitness coach had a great view of the incident. It is a bit hard to cause such damage when you fall flat on your face, without a little help. And thanks for asking the surgery was a success and he will be ok.

I did speak to our lad and he has a rather large lump on his head where upon he was crahed into (sorry your player put his body in the way) by your Captain, no elbow used I'm afraid, but I do hope he recovers..
