How was the ref?

I believe replays are usually officiated by the same Referee unless he got an injury or something! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well i don`t think the ref was biased against either side he was just consistently rubbish. I`m not sure at what level he normally refs but i don`t want to see him ref another game i attend. Apparently he wanted to come off at 1/2 time with cramp but carried on to make a fool of himself trying to send Theobald off for a single yellow card! At least it was on live tv so hopefully his mistakes won`t go unseen, at least none of the goals came from his errors.

Another black mark for the ref if some of you didn't notice at the game. I was watching it on Sky and when Warren got his red card, Boylon then went off for treatment. He was then standing on the touchline for 3-4 minutes waiting to come back on! Had several stoppages in that time and still he was not waved on so both sides had 10 men at that point.

Even he lost count of who he booked at one point. Does anyone know how many cards were dished out in the end?

Can't say anyone should be surprised after the game at Roots Hall. Hope he doesn't ref another game, certainly at league level!
