Slough v North Greenford

I do like the Greenford keeper, he doesn't mind a bit of a joke and is a much better keeper than some we see....however, I thought the goal was his also :)

I think overall last night we were very professional and seemed to have a get the job done attitude, Warren Harris was my MOTM and was superb getting in behind their full back several times. How good is it also to have someone like Wooz who can play left back meaning we can accomodate Hollis, Foulser and Woozley at the back whilst not losing our 4-4-2, a very solid defence. Think Ed needs a goal to get back into the swing of things but it will come.

Well done all and roll on Saturday :)

So, if the ball is on target and was going in anyway the goal is acredited to Wheels.

That's the way I see it as well, and I will be putting Wheeler's name up as the goalscorer on the highlights when I edit the video later today...unless somebody officially tells me otherwise ?  ;)

I put it in as a Wheeler goal, I was standing by the players entrance to the pitch and it did look more in when the keeper touch it. And as said if it'd been a shot from the penalty spot and the keeper touches it, it doesn't go down as an og.

if its going in without the keepers touch then it has to be Wheeler's goal

good 3 points in a game we did what we had to do and though it was far from spectacular cruising to a 3-0 win is fine by me. 3 quite scrappy goals but they all count

not sure the ref helped the flow of the match which could have played a factor

now all we need is for a chance like Dyers goal to fall to Smithy to get him back in the swing of things goals wise. even without the goals we look so much better when Smith is in the side so no question in my mind he should keep starting

some massive games weather permitting ahead but the most important thing is we go into those games having won the previous 3 league games against "lesser" teams. had we slipped up again after Leighton even wins vs the likes of Daventry would not have been as valuable as they would be now

Looked like another struggle was on for the first half hour but the first goal, as ver, proved important and we never seemed likely to do anything but win after that.

MOTM was Warren tho there were several contenders at various stages.......agree that Ed continues as his presence unsettles opponents and we all know the goals will come again soon

Ant I thought it was an own goal tho admittedly I was not as close as some observers

Roll on Saturday for the Daventry visit especially as they and Dunstable won last night also

Cant remember the player now, but they had this young blonde haired defender, he looked knackered (holding his hips, breathing heavily) after 50 mins. I thought we had a good 20 min spell in the second half where our midfield completely dominated (they couldnt get the ball of us).

Thought the wide men had a good game and Ed was a threat. Was worried a bit when he pulled up near the end of the game, luckily just cramp.

I agree with Graham, I thought after 15 mins it would be a struggle, but we do tend to start games slowly.

Great result, looking forward to Saturday (hope to see a good crowd too).

Im  very pleased that the attitudinal change I hoped for a few weeks ago has taken a grip on the squad They are playing now without nervousness and uncertainty as if they expect to win the game in hand and they  believe they can beat anyone in the league Im really looking forward to Daventry since our growing confidence contrasts with their more difficult position  They have played 10 league games   First 5  scored 20 conceded 3  Second 5  scored 7 conceded 4    And its not because the first 5 were easier  Rugby in the first lot Dunstable in the second  I expect us to win this one.
