FA Vase Third Round Proper

Recommended Posts

Welwyn at 66-1 and Hanwell 125-1. I'll have a punt on Hanwell myself! As for Ampthill at 100 Rhodes you could be right. But then you could be wrong as usual. Can't see it going further than the northern league again though but then Tunbridge shook it up so it can be done.

Think I'm going down to Paddy,s later and have a fiver each way on both, decent odds on my book. I'm sure TW@T will have 100pennies on them if he can find his piggy bank.

I find odds at non-league level a disaster waiting to happen, as the latest arrests seem to prove.

An interesting betting rule is that any player registered with a club cannot bet on a competition their club is involved in, even if their club has been knocked out. I believe this is what Andros Townsend got done for. This is the problem at this level because I just don't think players would think they were doing anything wrong.

Well Ampthill won't win the FA Vase this season will they so anything less than 100/1 is un-realistic

Says who? Mr know it all but knows nothing says so, so it must be true. Any team that beats Dunstable town 3-0 twice in a season surely stands a chance, Dunstable beat Luton town 2-0 a week before we beat them the first time. On a one off game of course Ampthill have a chance so do Hanwell. Rhodes it's been so long since you actually watched any football, you are completely out of touch.

A 100-1 chance evidently

That's a realistic price though isn't it
