FA Trophy exit

This was always a mountain to climb with our missing players (discipline issues costing us dear today). With hopefully a full squad (-J Vines and J Beales) available Tuesday this is the crucial game. Must be 3 points or we are in trouble. Expect the guys to be up for it and playing as a team for themselves and the fans. Lets move on.

Agree but nothing is achieved by negative comments about specific players who can't answer back. Have no problem with constructive comm

why not - if someone in the premier league is playing poorly its lambasted on TV - we dont have that style of forum so why not vent our fury on here - ...................

Maybe some allowance for the fact that those playing for margate are not millionaires but also have to hold down a day job? I am frustrated as the next fan by poor touches and inconsistent performances but as long as they are trying their best then I won't criticise. If they aren't then I trust the management to deal with it

You're right there. Some of them certainly aren't trying their best and I hope you're right and the management kick arse.

3)  Joe Vines was at the match as could be seen before the match as he was helping in the warm up.

Rule 254. Players  who are suspended will not
be allowed to:
(B) Be on the field of play during a game which includes warm up and cool down.

Sorry but with Cheshams form there was only going to be one result. As I stated before some players, and the management, need to take a really good look at themselves regarding discipline. If we had any chance of getting a result yesterday it would require a full team. Injuries are one thing but suspensions, despite people stating that some decisions were dodgy, are no excuse. Oh and the answer to my last post "Dilemma", no I did not attend yesterday, and if that makes me a disloyal supporter then so be it, but I know where I stand. Yesterday should have been an exciting and entertaining game of football in front a good crowd, WIN LOSE OR DRAW, and people would not be complaining now.

Very well put. Not a lot needs adding to that. The game was lost before yestrday, lost by the teams complete lack of discipline so far this season.

Not attending every game certainly doesnt make you any less of a supporter at all.

Thank you for Mr Sanderson pointing out that a suspended player shouldnt take part in the warm up. However, as I Spartacus clearly says, he helped ie helped putting out the markers etc not took part.

Having slept on it, just wanted to say my two pence worth - I really don't want to dwell too much on yesterday's result, being under strength to that degree (missing 5 important players) was always going to make yesterday an uphill struggle, Chesham looked a useful side who would've given us a game even at full strength, and I felt the lads made a real go of it second half, testing their keeper and unlucky not to get a goal, whether through Whitelocks excellent shot or Ademenos header that was parried onto the bar.

We were never going to win this Trophy, so concentrating on the League must be the priority now, with some very winnable home games coming up. I'm not going to get involved in arguments about how people support their team, that's for the individuals to decide as football really is a game of opinions - my own opinion is that no matter how well or badly we're doing, getting behind the team must always be the priority.

I thought that the Choir (well led by Ivesy) did a brilliant job of that, cheering the team on even when we let in those two late goals, and I feel the support definitely helps the lads, too.

Every faith in Craig & Simon, & here’s hoping for a turnaround in our League form and getting some much needed points up on the board. Backing the lads all the way. Up The Gate!
